First off, congratulations on the new release, really includes some great features.

I have more of a usability question/concern that you may want to consider for future releases.

When creating either a view or adding a new event, the category multi-select list is listing the categories alphabetically and is also not inheriting any parent-child relations in the list. This is especially frustrating if you have 10 parent categories and then 4 sub-categories for each parent that are named the same thing - it makes it impossible to manage.

It'd also be great to have a way to inherit Views settings from a "default view" - instead of having to setup each new view one by one (if for example all you need to change is the categories that show up in the list)

When viewing the category tree in the backend, I think it'd also be useful just to be able to list out all of the categories (with proper parent-child relationships) instead of having to click off to a new page to see the sub-categories of a parent category.

Thanks!

All of these are great ideas. I will consider them in a future release.
