When I try to link to an individual event in the main calender I end up in the month-view.
How do I link directly to a single event (i e in my newsletter).

Click the share button (you may need to enable it). The URL to the event is displayed at the bottom of the share window.

What is the variable that makes some event views include "component/zcalendar" show in the "share" URL, and others don't show these? I have two static calendar views, one shows this (static/list) and one hides (static/upcoming) it. I'm trying to make my URLs as short and sharable as possible, and also without giving away what component is running the whole thing. (added security)
If I can have the shortest URLs without sacrificing view options that would be great!
thanks!

It should be based if SEF is being used. Are the URL's that are displaying the calendars using SEF URL's?
