Hello,

I cannot seem to get the Google Map working. I can add an event and get the lat/lon coordinates when I select the geocode button. However, I don't think the info gets saved, because zCalendar shows 'Location not found' when you click on the event for more info.

I verified the following:
- the plugin is enabled in the Plugin Manager
- the API key is set
- the plugin is enabled from the View Settings
- the Group View is enabled

Current configuration:

Joomla 1.5.11
PHP 5.2.9
Latest version of zCalendar

Make sure you completed the plugin installation. Go to the admin tools screen and see if it is asking you to complete the installation. If that is not the case, send me a URL that shows the problem. Thanks.

I completed the plugin installation when I first installed the component and after I enabled it in the Plugin Manager. I also cleared the cache in the Admin Tools screen.

This has been fixed with version 2.0.10.1 of the Google Maps plugin. Registered users can re-download 2.0.10 to receive the updated plugin.

I am having this problem now, will updating the version cause any damage to be lost?

Just re-install the component and plugins over your existing installation. You do not need to uninstall.
