If 5 people sign up and all of them are bringing a friend, I think it should show 10 people RSVP'ed, otherwise the entire stat is pretty useless. I mean if I'm using it to reserve a table at a restaurant, I want the total people coming. Anything that can be done about this?

I wish I had realized this before I bought the module. I see why it doesn't count in the total. It is stored as a string! I'm going to have to rewrite the code. I really didn't expect to have to do that for $120.

For now, you can do a CSV export to a spreadsheet and get the total from the spreadsheet using a column sum. I will look at a better way for the next release. I am also looking at a payment option too, which will require the count to be in a separate field instead of in the param field where it now is.

That's way too much work and it takes away from the calendar sync. I want to look on my iphone and know bottom line how many people are coming.

Please help me fix this. I hate paying more money, but if you could fix it within the next week I'd be willing to pay a small amount for it. Otherwise I'm going to have to re-write the code myself. Your module otherwise is the best joomla event module out there, and everything else is great. This is the last thing that stands in the way of my site being perfect.
