Display U.S.A. Weather On Your Joomla Web Site

Z Weather is a free Joomla component and module that can display weather information for any U.S.A. location on your web site.  Z Weather utilizes weather data produced by the National Weather Service (NWS).  Now, the same advanced weather forecast system used by many commercial weather providers in the U.S.A. can be utilized on your web site with no fees or commercial advertizing.  Z Weather can display forecasts, current conditions, and hazardous weather alerts for one or more locations.  Other features include:

• Compatible with Joomla 1.0 and 1.5 (in legacy mode)
• Selectable 3 hour (8 icons per day), 12 hour (2 icons per day) or 24 hour (1 icon per day) forecast display
• XML, HTML and image caching are used to provide fast display of weather data
• Optional module for displaying weather data within a module (copy module feature of Joomla is also supported)
• Flexible display options for both component and module display
• Forecast display options include single day, multiple day and weekend forecasts for one or more locations
• Overlib support for displaying additional weather information by hovering the mouse over the Z Weather link
• CSS support for customizing Z Weather's output
• Optional cron job script that can create all XML and HTML cache files in the background
