Zap Calendar for Schools

Zap Calendar was originally developed for schools and provides features with schools in mind.  Zap Calendar supports multiple calendars, which allows you to provide separate calendars for categories such as academics, sports, lunch menu, and PTO events.  Combining Zap Calendar's multiple calendars and date range feature, you can create  a school calendar for the current academic year and another for the next school year.  When browsing events using the monthly calendar, the year view can be customized to display the school year (July to June) instead of the calendar year (January to December).

If your sports teams are using an outside calendar service for listing their events, you can use the iCal subscribe plugin, available with Zap Calendar Pro, to import and synchronize the sporting events. This will allow you to display your team events using the same calendar interface as your other calendars.

The sequential events screen allows you to enter many events on a single screen.  For example, this feature can be used to enter a school menu where an entire month's menu can be entered in one screen.
